Charter School Tuition Policies

Civic Dance Center is currently an approved vendor with Heartland Charter School. If you are interested in using your service vendor funds at Civic Dance Center, please contact the front desk. All Civic Dance Center students must go through the front desk to receive class recommendations, you may not register for or take classes without this approval. We cannot accept service request funds from Heartland to be used for registration fees, membership fees, performance fees, class attire, or costume fees. These must be paid for out of pocket by the student’s family. Civic Dance Center’s schedule typically follows the traditional school year with a summer session of classes along with camps and intensives. We also offer master classes and workshops throughout the year and if the timing allows, we can add those options to the Heartland catalog as options. Tiered pricing for charter school students follows the individual student rather than the entire family and is as follows:

Monthly Tuition Rates
  • Active Start class only (30min class): $70
  • Movin’ & Groovin’ class only (45min class): $85
  • 1 class per week: $95
  • 2 classes per week: $145
  • 3 classes per week: $195
  • 4 classes per week: $245
  • 5 classes per week: $290
  • 6 classes per week: $335

  • 8 classes per week: $415
  • 9 classes per week: $455
  • 10 classes per week: $490

Registration Fee: $25 per student (Reminder: Registration must be paid out of pocket, charter school funds cannot be used for registration fees, membership fees, performance fees, class attire, or costume fees.)

Once class options are given by Civic Dance Center administration, follow Heartland’s instructions for requesting services with particular attention to their deadlines for requesting those services and return the charter school registration form to the studio. Your dancer’s registration will not be completed until the registration form, registration fee, and purchase order certificate for tuition have been received. All tuition is non-refundable. You must provide one-month’s advance notice in writing to drop a class or if a student plans to leave the program. Refund exceptions will be considered with a doctor’s note stating the medical reason necessary for withdrawal. If you do not submit your purchase order certificate by your school’s submission deadlines, we will run the card on file for tuition.
